End of Year Read-a-thon Update #2

 

Since December 9th I have been participating in the End of the Year Reading Cram. I was so excited to get started I was reading a lot up until the challenge. The challenge started and life happened. I have been super busy. I have read a little bit and participated in a few challenges.

Here's my progress

Total Books Read: 3 


I was super excited about this challenge before it started. I just didn't realize I would be so busy. I didn't read as much as I would have like but, I did enjoy what I did read and the challenges I was able to participate in. I hope to enjoy it again.

Dec 12-15th: Busy weekend with sick kids
Pages Read: 189 pages
Books Read: The Lost by J.D. Robb, Patricia Gaffney, Mary Blayney, and Ruth Ryan Langan
Total Pages to Date: 666 pages. Scary number of pages.
Total Books Read: 1

I'm officially sick now. I plan of using it to my advantage and reading a lot, while laying in bed.

Book To Movie Challenge

 This challenge has us list what we think is the best book to movie adaption. These are probably my favorite. The Host by Stephenie Meyer, Catching Fire by Susanne Collins, and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by JRR Tolkien.

Movie Cast Challenge

This challenge has us pick a book we read in 2013 and make a movie cast. I really don't have a defined picture of a character when I'm reading but, I thought I would give it a try. I chose the Mediator by Meg Cabot.

• Stake That by Mari Mancusi. I don't know if I can finish reading this book. The main character sounds like an adult trying to hard to be a teenager.  She doesn't feel real and it is getting annoying.
