Hi, I'm Anna. I live in Oregon. If you're picturing trees your picturing the wrong part of the state.I live in eastern Oregon. There is a lot of sage brush and tumble weeds.. It's really dry here right now and the expected temperature for today is 109. I started blogging so I could participate in a read-a-thon and I have always wanted to do it. Lately, my favorite genre has been YA, sci-fi, fantasy, and paranormal. I will read just about anything though.

I plan to have fun and put a dent in my TBR pile. I hope you all do the same.
What I'm reading today I got a kick out of the name of the main character(Ukiah Oregon) and wanted to see if it was any good.
I lied I'm not reading Alien Taste. Somehow I missed placed it in the process of doing class orientation. I am currently reading.

My teaser comes from a book I started this morning. The Sound of Rain by Anita Stansfield.
"He
stopped for a moment and turned his face skyward, allowing the water to
bathe his skin while he breathed in the memories, not certain whether they soothed his ache or deepened it. Either way, he had no choice but to keep on living."
When you mentioned Oregon, trees instantly popped into my head. I didn't know Eastern Oregon was like that. It's still pretty though :) One book a day? Yep, I should definitely join you on that one!
Good Luck!!
ReplyDeleteOne book a day! Nice! I love sage, so I would probably love Oregon maybe. Hehe. Hope you enjoy the readathon!

Ooh, nice goals, Anna! It sounds like we have similar tastes - though I'm branching out this week into my newfound love of contemporary, lol.
