1. Similarities to these two books 

    
  Girls meets guy who is the model of perfection. The guy is a jerk but, he has a perfectly good reason for it. The girl ignores all insults, bad behavior and obsesses over guy. Something tragic happens and guys confesses his undying love from the beginning.
