Dewey Challenges

dewey

Challenge 1

Pick a paragraph & win a book

 1) Pick a paragraph or a quote from the book you’re reading now.
2) Add it to the comments on the cautious.dk

 3) Add the author of the book and the title.
4) Send your comment along with your name, email and a blog if you have one.

My Paragraph

 Being Nikkie by Meg Cabot

Waves are crashing agasinst the backs of my legs, and the water, which this afternoon had been a warm turquoise, has turned an icy black. The rocks to which I'm clinging are cutting into my fingertips and the bottoms of my feet. They're slippery as a glacier, but I can't let go or I'll fall into that frigid water, in which--no exaggeration--sharks are swarming beneath me.

Challenge 15

An uncomfy challenge! by bits and bites

Experience reading somewhere you never read before

I don't think there is a place I would be uncomfortable reading. I've read in the bath, outside, in a restaurant, at a party, when family was visiting, I even read one time while out hunting.

I just thought of something. I have not read in the shower. I already read in the bath today. But, I plan on reading tomorrow in the shower on my daughters ipod. I may limit it to a page. I don't want to waste water.
