Opening Meme, Mid-event Survey and End Survey

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? Eastern Oregon
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? I think I'm most looking forward to finishing The Murderer's Daughter by Jonathan Kellerman. I bought the book and it was missing 5 chapters in the middle and have had I have had to wait for the replacement. I'm not good at waiting.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?Ice Cream and Hot Chocolate
4) Tell us a little something about yourself! I'm married and have four children ranging in age 17-11. My three girls are all in high school.  I think sometimes I may go crazy with all the running around I have to do. I love reading and I really hate cleaning. It's 5 am here and I don't think my thoughts are clear yet. So please ignore all spelling and grammar mistakes. I will have to work for 5 hours today. I'm alright with it, because I didn't think I would be participating at all until yesterday. I am not fully awake and can not figure out how to fix my colors. That's what I get for having a black background. One of these days I will change it.
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? I have participated before. I love it. I won't be cheering this time officially, because I didn't sign up until yesterday. I believe this is my 8th in a row. I am looking forward to being selfish and spending time doing what I love to do.

Challenges

!. What are you reading right now? I am reading The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong
2. How many books have you read so far? I have finished 1 book and started 2 others.
3. What book are you looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon? I am looking forward to rereading all of the Darkest Power books in one day
4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those? Not a lot of interruptions. I haven't blogged in a while and it is acting funny. That's why you see all the wonderful color changes. I'm sure I could fix it, but at 5 this morning I just didn't care. I still don't.
5. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon? I guess I am surprised at how much I love participating. I'm not cheering this time and I do miss that.

It is time for Dewey

I didn't think I would be able to participate in my favorite reading activity (Dewey's 24 Hour Read-A-Thon), but I just found out I will be able to after all. I can hardly contain my excitement. It is the best 24 hours spent blogging, tweeting, playing games and reading. I will have to work 5 hours, however I may be able to listen to a book part of the time. I believe this will be my eighth time participating. If you are interested in learning more Click Here.
